Bible Prophecy and The Last Days

Prophecy for Dummies!

In the Beginning....

Prophecy began after the fall of mankind in Eden.

God created this world and gave it to mankind. Who in turn, gave that dominion over to Satan. It was prophesied way back in Genesis that we would be given a savior to get us out of the mess we started.

From the time that Adam and Eve were promised a savior, prophecy has been the guiding force for Gods' people throughout history. The Bible is filled to the brim with prophecy, and those who spoke forth what God told them have been looked at as idiots and lunatics by many of their contemporaries.

Noah preached for 200 years trying to let those around him know that rain was coming. And on top of that he obeyed the Lord and built an ark in an area where it had never rained. The sad part of this was that only a handful of Noahs' family heeded the warning and escaped unscathed.

Many times in history people have not heeded the warning of God through prophecy. And in turn, they paid a price for it. The nation of Israel is the prime example of being called by His name and either obeying or disobeying Him.

I do need to state emphatically that what is to come is NOT God punishing us. What occurs is the direct reaction of our own choices. If you tell a child not to place his hand on the stove, and he does it anyway, it was not you as a parent who punished him. It was the direct action of that childs choice, and hopefully he learned a lesson to better heed his parents next time they warn him of danger.

So it is with God. He has the ability to look forward into time and see where our choices as mankind have taken us. He also provided the way out through His son Jesus, as He promised Adam and Eve. We can look through the Bible and read the words of the prophets and see that they were, and still are correct. King David made many such prophecies in Psalms. Daniel was so precise in his assessments that some historians could not believe he actually lived in the time the Bible cays he did because no one could be so precise. Jeremiah, Obadiah, Zephaniah, Zechariah, Isaiah, John, Paul, and Jesus of course all told us what to look for, and where to look.

Prophecy is simply a road map for us to accept the truth and mercy of God our Father, and to be able to finally have a full and joyful life when He returns to make things right. The beauty of this is that we are also to be saved from the results of the Tribulation that we have bought upon ourselves as a civilization. This is stated emphatically in scripture, as well as beautifully illustrated in Revelation.

I will be showing forth these passages as we progress through this site.

Matthew 24:32 “Learn this parable from the fig tree: Whenever its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near.

24:33 So also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near, right at the door

PUBLIC DISLCAIMER:

Though I did a weekly Prophetic news Analysis at chn, I am NOT affiliated in ANY WAY with chn.net danielsglasses, and I do NOT subscribe to their philosophy on the end times. I simply did a news analysis and publicly disassociated myself due to teaching that I disagreed with.
